    Question car starts and then dies

    I am currently working on a 1973 plymouth scamp with 340 engine. Replaced carb and the car will start, rpm high then die??The fuel pump is new, new plugs and wires timing is set and alt is charging. I don,t know what is going on???

    I can't be sure what your carb problem is... you might have a vacuum leak somewhere... but it's better that you post your question on a board that can help you more... this is for import cars, and we try and keep our posts import related... if not intirely accord related.

    Sorry you found the wrong board... wish I could help. You may post in the off-topic section but chances are you'll get dumbass responses like before.
