you don't have to do anything. you can run 50 shot easy. there are some people on this board who are dealers for diff. NOS companies. you need to talk to them.
Alex.
it is called nitrous! not nos!

well i was going to rebuild anyway and i wanted to do it the best way possible but does it matter if your car is an auto or a manual? and how much horsepower can i expect if i get a dual stage with a 10lb bottle?
I Love Sarah http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/498407
wait.... dual bottles? You can run a 50 shot no problem on a stock engine. If you want to reduild the engine that is a good idea. Talk to NXRacer he can get you a NX wet/50shot for a good price and he can help you with what mods you should do before you get N2O.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
remember you have carburated motor and it will require a lot more work with wet shot.
you don't need dual stage. the single stage should do just fine.
Alex.
you'll have to get an adaptor plate to use a n2o system with a carburated motor. It'll have to be custom made.

well the plan is...im gonna buy a 88 EXI and run the nitrous setup...my car has alot of rust and 340000 kms so i definitly wouldnt be running it on my existing 3g....but it is ok with an auto? the new car will be fuel injected so do i still need the custom made plate? also...does anyone have any info on a stand alone fuel management system?

Listen to Caleb, he knows his shit.
I have seen a few dry n20 motors blow up prematurely.
K-mod runs nitrous in his PGMFi car. www.kmodifiedracing he sells nitrous setups and fuel management systems.

yea he sell kits for a 100 shot. Good thing your getting another car cause it is more trickey to hook it up to the carb. EFI is the best way to go.

definitly sounds to me that i should go with a wet kit....any preference on brand name?

NOS!
They go waay back, cehck out that link I sent you. K-mod can make you a custom kit for your car.

NX I think is the safest.I have run NOS and NX.And trust I have never been so happy since I swicthed. And it is a really easy install they provid some good instrutions with the kit.It comes with multiple jet sizes. And they are easy to change.Originally Posted by Dallas&SarahsAccord
Just incase u dont know much about n20.Wet injects gas at the same time as n20.So u decide what u think would be better.

You are funny., but still correct. A 50 shot is not much and all it takes is a screwdriver to richen the fuel mix.Originally Posted by stolenracer
Do you have pics of your N2O setup? I am interested to see how you did it on a carbed car.
