And I hate ANYTHING rockford! ... their old stuff was O.K, but the new stuff is total garbage. I could go on and on about all the companies that OWN rockford... but I don't care that much, if Audiobahn is what he wants than let him be, it is his car afterall. I mean I would have spent the money on something like some Focal's or Eclipse subs, but hey, it's not my car.

but, IMHO, both those companies are only half-decent. I only buy the Pepboys subwoofer speaker boxes. 2 12"s for only 69.99!!

Seriously though, if you're gonna put some serious cash down for sound, go with Cerwin-Vega. No one can touch them.

Im keepin it all fosgate, i have already blown one of my subs, but i have blown every sun i have owned pretty much. I have had pretty much evertything from Urban, to Pyramid, to Audiobahn, MTX, Cerwin-Vega "Vega!" 12's, Sony Xplod mobile ES, Pioneer (which makes great cd players), allthe way up to Linear Power (best amps on earth, no question), to MA Audio, JL, Ive never had a system for more thatn 6 months, i keep changing, but ive kept it all fosgate (until a cpl months ago, the RFX-9100 cd player had to go) but Ive had it all pretty much, and Fosgate is where its at, now that i can afford it. But I will go and get my car miked at my local shop. All i have as far as subs and amp is one Punch 500a2 from 2000, and a set of Punch HE 15's (1 blown) and ill get my friends Civic miked, he has a Punch 301s and a Punch Z 15 from the 99-00 line. Oh, btw, I smoked some guy at my school, he had two Audiobahn linear compression 15's and two AW-1000QX's or whatever they're called amps, i know thats the second highest sub Audiobahn makes besides the "legend" or whatever, and two 1000 watt amps, me with a punch 500a2 and one punch classic 15 from 1995. I know most other brands are good, and i like stuff from JL and MA and such, but Audiobahn NO WAY.
