Has anyone else noticed that, even though all four speakers (doors and decklid) are identical speakers and are being fed identical power (4 channels of one amp), the speakers in the doors are way quieter? Is that just because of the their location?

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.“

mostly because of the fact that the front channels are being fired into the floorboard and lost, and the rears are getting more sound to your ears because of the back window "mirroring" the soundwaves

this is why kickpods are popular

Not only that, but much of the sound from the front's is being lost into the door if you've cut the basket.

pioneer speakers are great, especially for the price!!! I got all of mine off of ebay new in box for less than half of what they were selling for in stores. They're very nice.

    I have these two sets:

I have alpine 6 1/2's in the front of my car. I love them. and the best part is i spent $65 on then BRAND NEW off e-bay. I also have Kenwood 4-way 6x9's in the back. It sounds pretty sweet, it'll make your ears hurt after 30 minutes of hard jammin.

Moral of the Story> Look on e-bay, but only buy quality stuff, there is a lot of crap on there, and it can be a little hard to sift thru.

yes, it would be best to go with the some type all the way around. Think about it like this, it'd be like using two Champion spark plugs and two AC delco spark plugs. Although i would work, it would be best to use all Champion or all AC delco. Get me? Good luck and let me know how it sounds!
