Talking Pics with new rims finally on

Yes, FINALLY I've got my new rims on! I've only had them since last april, LOL. Anyways, got new tires online and they arrived on friday, and I mounted and and balanced them on the wheels today (*note.... mounting low profile tires SUCKS!! It took 3 people, each with a prybar, to hold down the opposite side of the tire so it could slip on). I'm very happy with them though and (I think) they look very good! Only bad thing is it gave me an even more painful reminder of just how much I need to looooowwweeeerrrr, hahah. I guess you could say it looks a bit SUV-ish now, so guaynabo89 has been relieved of his duties, LOL. I also painted all the calipers and brackets silver, so they don't look quite as bad....

The wheels are 17 inch MSR 113's, with Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 205/40-17

HA...very funny!! LOL Nah, I know it's up there.... definitely needs a drop. But unfortunately as we all know, dollars don't grow on trees I was kinda hoping that after 332,000 miles the stock springs would have sagged a bit so it wouldn't be quite as high.... guess not! hahahah

    Thanks for the compliments though

yha man that silver on the rims is hittin hard with the black.
Good job man. Now heres what you do............
1- Leave it high for about 3 weeks so you gotta put up with the 4x4 look
2- Buy your stuff (springs, struts, camber, all dat stuff)
    3- Slam it! **
3*- Ride with black steelies for 1 week while freshly slammed
4- THrow them choppas back on and man its gonna feel so goooood

no money? Need to be lowered? EASY. CHOP DEM BEATCHES...... :-D It will look 100% better with even the slightest drop.

What size tires are you running? 35's? Those are pretty damn small man. Its gonna ride ROUGH. With that size tires, coilovers arent even an option unless you get some kickass struts to go with em.

    lookin hella nice though maing.

Lower it!!! I like the tires you got, which i have as well, but to everone, if you have the money to spend on higher price tires, do it. IMO, they are just too fragile compare to Yokohamas. But everything else like wet traction and wear are very good!

Thanks for all the positive comments!! And don't worry, it will get lowered..... soon! To whoever asked, the tires are 40 series, and suprisingly they really don't ride that bad. Of course they're not as soft and cushy as my stock 195/60-14's were, but I didn't expect them to be. Steering does seem to be a bit more responsive, and even a little jumpy at times, but nothing major at all. Overall, still very satisfied
