All the manual trannys are pretty much the same but the 88-89 EFI models have a slightly different 5th and a different differental due to the bigger 14" wheels.

    gearbox ratios

    85 lude carb
    1-3.181
    2-1.944
    3-1.250
    4-0.933
    5-0.757
    FD 4.071

    lude SI
    1-3.181
    2-1.842
    3-1.250
    4-0.937
    5-0.771
    FD 4.066

    88lxi accord
    1-3.181
    2-1.842
    3-1.208
    4-0.878
    5-0.694
    FD 4.066

my gear box which has a acco bellhousing and integra casing combined with various honda gears from all models is.
    1-3.18
    2-1.94
    3-1.34
    4-1.03
    5-0.87
    FDR 4.21
    diff is 4.06
now the higher the number the better acceleration but lower speed, lower the number more speed but less acceleration.
hence the names low ratio box for speed and high ratio box for accelleration, don't get confused when peeps start going low geared box or high geared because that means the opposite! also don;t help when they start jabbering about them being taller either! my ratios are slightly different due to mix of u.k spec integra and civic parts!
also used 1.8 accord or prelude flywheel with 200mm clutch which is lightened and balanced with AP clutch and solid hub 4 puck ceramettallic AP racing disc. can't use anything spring loaded breaks too easy! doesn't slip though yet!

    ratios

they sure do you only come unstuck if you race something with good top end speed as you run out of revs with teg box had a race with a porsche boxter cruised passed him like he was standing still speedo well buried off the clock but now can only just about manage to get over 140 and i'm outta revs! but 1/4 mile times are better down previous best was 14.8 seconds with .832 reaction on road tyres, last time with new Box just in got 14.6 with .892 reaction and same tyres got to work on reaction time though got a .723 before but had too much wheelspin! so was slower 14.8s gonna invest in some slicks and practice take offs, but unfortunately tarmac at strip is crap on road can hardly wheelspin i'm sure 1/4mile would be a lot quicker if it didn't spin like mad in 1st and 2nd gear, even third is a struggle if too violent with clutch! but after a diet for me and car plus a bit more muscle hope to hit 14.2's maybe less! would be nice to break into 13's and get that reaction time into the .6's! well practice makes perfect as they say!
