i just tried on a pair of 15 inch , 7.5 inch wide rims with 205/50\15 tires on , and when i go in a bump the tires scrath on the inside of the car (back)
is 195 the widest i can put on in the back ???

i really don't know (they belong to bmw) , but i'm getting new rims soon and need new tires as well
what should i buy , can i put on 205 with another offset with 16 inch ?

The offset or rear-wheel drive cars (like BMWs) is typically a lot different than front-wheel drive cars. 205 is no problem if the offset is right (40mm).

umm thats odd. i have 205/50/R15 with my GSR rims. and they rub and i got 2.5 drop. something wrong then

Just get some other wheels with the right offset and go have fun.
