    removing stock radio/tape player

    ??? how do i do it?

    If you go under the radio, I think that there are two bolts on the bottom side of the player behind the ash tray. I think that you can slide it out the front after you get those out.

    ok....i took out that one screw but i can't get the ashtray out....am i just not pulling out hard enough?

    There is a clip that hold the ash tray in. push it down the tray should pop out. then take the 3 screws that hold the frame/bracket for the tray out. the bracket should come out easly and you should see the "led" (not sure what kind of light it is) light on it. Then slide the HU out. Don't forget to take out the one or two screws from the back of the HU out. Sometimes you have to take out a gray or black box near the carpet. From there you should see the screws on a little lip about a 1/4 inch wide. This applies only to the stock radio. others i do not know.

    yeah I just unbolted the screws in the back and ripped that antique garbage out!!!!
