    New Car!!!

well today at lunch time, i went and got my car...

1987 DX hatch, 5 speed, all stock.. silver outside, browny/maroonish interior... 5 speed... 268***km's, very little rust...

tommorow ill get tons of pics... my auto room is right beside the media arts room.. can we say video's and 5.1 MP pics??

anyway, ill be throwing all my goodies on it and painting it flat black...

the 4G63 Excel is canceled until the summer when ill have enuff money to do a 300 HP 4G63t...

1 quick question... do sedan and hatch seats swap? i got a parts car with a mint set of front seats that i could score for free... my new hatch has a big rip in the seat

well.. got the fucked up fender off, and the hood...pulled off the fender molding crap and fund some mad rust... its all good tho...

oh yah.. the rocker panels are soft...

i havent got it in the air yet, but its gonna need some mad work... the front brakes are like perma rusted...everything is brown.. there is no brake line goin to the driver side caliper adn the car has 0 brakes... oh well.. its a project.. i have till the summer to complete... anyway, i forgot to get pics... time was limited, but the stereo works and the hatch is complete... unlike my old car...

it smells like ass cuz it was all wet...

the car doesnt idle, carb is gummed up BAD.. oh well.. i got the weber...

well.. nothign else to report yet... ill try for pics tommorow

From experience it is easier to switch the entire rail setup to get it to work properly. And be careful not to get them spun around or they won't engage and disengage in the track properly.

For the brakes use some 120 grit on the rotors, I did that when my malibu sat for over a year outside and the rotors were fine afterwards.

will i just be able to swap sliders? i guess i should just leave the sliders in the car and unbolt JUST the seat.. and then bolt the sedan seats on...
