I got some of the secret mods done today!

Well I finally got some head way on my car today. I installed my powdercoated valvecover and anodized the little metal grommet covers and nuts with metal cast red. I also installed my dual intake setup. It's not quite what I wanted but it will do for now. I snapped a quick pic with my camera phone but it's pretty bad.

It took a lot of cutting with a hacksaw but I finally got the filters where they would fit the best and look the best. I will eventually paint the dual intake adapter the same anodized red color. I decided not to do the battery relocation and front mount CAI like I planned. I decided that b/c I know the car will never be fast enough to use it unless I did the JDM B20. I will do that swap when my motor decides to take a crap. I didn't have time to install my custom weber 32/36 intake manifold. (I powdercoated that the same color as the valvecover.) I also didn't have a chance to install the LXI thermostat housing (that's powdercoated as well.) I'm going to eventually make a heat shield for the other filter that I have.

I have my old valve cover for sale too. It's painted red with the honda emblem in chrome. $25 + shipping. PM me if interested. I'm also going to have stainless braided hose covers on soon. You can't really see all the little things that I have done to make the engine look better. I added a stainless steel fuel line with glass fuel filter. Added some silicone vacuum tubes (won't be there long once my vacuum gauge is installed.)

Oh that's right I'm adding a bunch of gauges too.

I will have an A/F gauge, Vacuum gauge, Voltage gauge, Water temp gauge, and another Tach w/shift light. I need to get two more pods though.

What do you guys think so far?

I will get better pics tomorrow hopefully. My parents are going out of town so I will have a garage to myself. Whenever they leave I have to come back home and watch over the place. Kinda sucks but I get money for doing it.

Well I only had to pay $75 for all the stuff I got powdercoated. I will get closer pics in about ten minutes. I want to put the thermostat housing on but I need some really find grit sand paper to ensure a flat surface.

The sound of the intakes is crazy! I have a quiet muffler now and holy crap when I lay on the gas they just roar and the intakes are louder than the exhaust!

    The sticker says DELTACAM.

(I'm loading some pics right as I'm typing.)

Here are the pics I just took a little bit ago.

Here's my custom weber 32/36 intake manifold that I also had powdercoated.

Here's the Thermostat housing that was also powdercoated.

Here's a K&N Breather filter that I have for sale. K&N is engraved on the top of the chrome. I paid $25 for this and it's rechargable like all K&N filters. I will recharge this for the buyer also. I'm asking $15 for this. This isn't a cheap matrix or apc filter like you can get at the store. I ordered this from K&N.

The pic isn't very clear b/c it's hard to get a good one b/c of the flash against the chrome (took about 4 and settled on this one) There are NO scratches on it. I will take a pic with my phone (it doesn't have a flash so it will be clearer.)

It's really hard to tell since there's a ton of snow and ice on the roads but I there was one road I did get to feel it since it was all salted down. Note these pipes are 2.75" compared to my old 3" piping. My low end seems to have gain more than what I had. I think the gains that I got start at about 2000 rpms and go to redline. But yeah it was definately a noticeble power gain.
