Question whant most bang for my buck

I have a old ehh kinda well taken care of car. I realy havent drove it much realy dosent feel like it has much get up and go. I have hollowed out the cat. and removed all the vacume line... havent set the carb yet gotta buy a new gasket im leaking antifrezze. Basicly how can i make this thing kick a$$ on a tight budget? how much would i expect to pay for a full EFI system from the junkyard? I wanna be able to light up the tires on this thing

    bang!bang

Dude headers only do REALLY good if u have other engine mods done first i.e. cam turbo and so on the accord stock header is an excellent stock header until more serious mods have been done! But to answer your ? I say intake and exhaust.more air = more power and bigger exhaust does the same.

no one makes headers for a 3gee? i'm propbably missing something here and am going to sound like an idiot, but i definitely saw one in JCW sport compact. pacesetter makes it. unless there's something wrong with pacesetter, i'm new and don't know much...

yeah people make headers for 3gee im not sure what hes talking about... exaust headers there are a couple different brands of them? i wouldnt reccomend getting them tho, i would start out with for start a cold air intake (or at least a short ram) the add a little bit of ooomph and your engine looks soo much better as well as sounds A LOT better too!

oh and sorry by the way i would check on ebay for them they arent usually more than 40$ for a cai one, i know that 90 integra ones work as well as (what i have) a 94-97 accord cold air intake. as for a short ram pretty much any one will work, you might have to saw it a little tho

Well, like starter said, Kroy is just using the correct terminology... We use a single Header on the 3g(as do most inline-4 cylinders), where as v6 and v8 engines use headers(plural)

The ones you can currently buy is the Pacesetter and S&S Header, but neither is recommended. If you can find a used one on Ebay or otherwise, the DC Sports 4-2-1 Ceramic Coated Header is the one to go until the new Lightspeed Header become available and some members use them and give us their comments on em.

For Intakes, You can get a pre-made Short Ram from Weapon-R but are expensive ($175 MSRP) new, unless you can find a used one. Or you can either make your own, or modify a newer model Accord/Civic intake. If you want a Cold Air Intake, your going to have to make/modify your own unless you buy K-Modified's CAI, but I believe you need to do a Battery Relocation to use that one.

Hope it clears up any confusion.

DING DING! We have a winner.

Headers = plural, as in more than one header.

Any 3g header you buy is singular, not a piar or set. We're not talkin about Mustangs and Camaros here.

yeah but kroy is still wrong, when he asked about headers he was talking about more than one header (as in different brands of headers) when you are talking about multiple "headers" it would be plural BO YA

Did I miss something? Headers with a turbo? Or turbo exhaust manifold, one or the other not both...

Kroy seriously did not know that someone sold headers either...
