:cool2: Just bought my first Honda. 1989 Accord Lxi 4dr metallic blue with 150k but super clean. I have been reading a lot here since I picked up the car yesterday. I don't think I will pimp it out. I'm glad this forum is here, thanks.

I never thought Id pimp out my car in a million years. When it was donated to my by my mom (lol) all I wanted to do was to get rid of it and get something better. But after driving it a while and washing it, i though wow it sure does look nice, and it doesnt perform half bad either, I mean its a far cry from a sports car, but it certainly was fun to drive.
Well... then I thought "I wonder if people actually supe these up?" and I started searching the net for 3rd gen accords. One of the first ones I found was Mikes (guy w/ taj mahal avatar) - the white 2 door 89 LX-i, and I was like damn. Also skyboy's or something like that (not member here i dont think) - a burgandy 88 4dr lxi w/ body kit. A link on a site led me here, and the rest is history.
Now 2 years and boats of money later I can say Im very happy with the way my accord is turning out. Sure I could have bought something new just as good w/o the countless hours of hard labor, but it wouldnt be nearly as cool, unique, and rewarding in the end.
