    FS: HIDs

These are true HIDs. They came off of an 02 Acura TL. Used for about a year in a civic. The bulbs are D2R with H4 adapter shields to reduce glare. They are NOT rebased bulbs. This will fit in H4 conversions easily. I'm selling the whole kit. 2 bulbs + 2 ballasts + wiring. I really need the money. $300 shipped. I"ll add in pictures tomorrow.

Edit. Everything seen below is included.

it's been 3 days, wheres the pix? and for $300, thats a little too high considering i can get a new H4 HID kit with high/low beam for under $350. maybe less if im lucky. not that i'm going to spend the money right now, but yeah. need pix.

Factory HID set ups are very popular and are very expensive so you cant compare them with other kits. My Audi setup is worth over $500 for the ballasts, Projectors, and bulbs. I wish i was able to get more of them when i worked at Audi because one of my ballasts was bad so i got rapped for a new one. And most of you would be surprised at how much the bulbs cost alone never mind a ballast.

LOL.... not long ago we had a customer at work with a '98 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC [factory HID's] and had a burnt out (or otherwise non-functioning) headlight. We advised him that a new BULB was $220.... not suprising, he declined the new bulb, hahahah

Man if I had $350 to spend I'd jump on these.... I love HID's!!

Yeah Audi was getting i believe $200 per bulb but ebay it seems you can get a set of decent bulbs (osrams) for a better price. Im trying to get some other parts from a friend at audi but one of the guys knows that they are worth money so he usually grabs them before others can get them. Oh well least i got one set of each item i needed.

wait, now that i think about it arent factory type HID's better because the light shield thingy? are factory ones made so that it has a cut off point, or is that just the headlight itself doing the cut off? i also wonder if you were to use some sort of headlight eyebrow thing to decrease the blinding shine to oncoming cars? could that work to even out light glare? the glare is why HID's put into cars that didnt have it is not legal. wonder if they would bother people around here with them because there are corvette's and hummer's with after market HID here. although i dont know if they get messed with by the law. well dude, hope you can toss those soon. sounds like you needed that money.

    ^thanks

its the actual housings and/or projectors that make the cut off. The brown shield attached to the bulbs is there to significantly reduce glare.

    I'm open to reasonable offers.
