    Strange behaviour when starting

Hi, I've been having this problem when starting my car for awhile. It doesn't happen all the time, maybe about every other day, and has been going on for 6 months. Sometimes, when I try to start my car, instead of turning over, it goes: crank- bang! bang! bang! I'll try this a couple of times, then maybe after the third or fourth try, it starts up perfectly. I have no other issues with this car. Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks.

hmmm, that is strange. take the car to autozone and let them check your electrical system.
when it goes bang-bang-bang, is it metal to metal sound?
