Has anyone dyno tested a turbo A20?

Has anyone dyno tested an A20 after putting a turbo on it. I have been considering doing this to my SEi but haven't read any posts that say how much HP gain they got.

    I'm not sure.

But, I read around the site and I believe they were getting around an extra 75 whp. Its suppose to be the best way for us to increase HPs & Torque.
    Hope this helps, LOL

well Sean uses a much more accurate dyno rather than the commercial dynojets, and he got 200+whp and thats like pretty close to what was mentioned above, even tho a stock efi was rated at 120hp at the crank, with 20% loss over the 14 years you might average around 95 to 100 whp. so yeah, its a crazy ass increase in ur hp and Sean was getting those numbers not at 4000K but more like 2800k which is nuts.

he was getting 225 on a stock motor. It really depends on what you have done to the motor, but i'd say with confidence that you could get minimum 200whp with a turbo. 100 more whp is a HUGE increase really.

I haven't dynoed my shit, but with 6-8 psi it is almost as fast a friend's gsr with i/h/e, type r cams etc... and this was with me shifting at 5k. (Also, the fuel tune is "rough", to say the least) I have a stupid ignition problem that is preventing me from revving over that rpm right now, but before I had this problem, the car pulled the hardest at the 6.6k limiter, and would be able to pull away from the teg. Also, I plan on turning up the boost a little soon.

    Hehehe, to be honest

TURBO A20 > MOFO B16 or B18 or any other motor out there.

I'm willing to bet a fully built A20 + turbo could eat B's and H's for breakfast. Only problem we have is our stock setups are all old and crappy. SOHC sucks, but really in a turbo app it doesn't make too big a difference. It's all about how much stress your shit can take. Iron block = lots of goodness.
Good bye to the 1989 DX Type R. Hello 2001 LX.

So you're putting a turbo A20 up against a naturally aspirated B-series? Gee, I wonder who'd win. You can get approx. 200 whp on a N/A B-series probably a little more. Slap a turbo on that B-series and you've a monster on your hands. It all depends on what your looking for.

Yeah except for one annoying fact. The b16 etc has to rev way out to around 9000 rpm to make that sort of power that an n/a a20a makes around like 7000rpm. TQ is a big deal. Ive got a big bore stroker im building right now with a fully done head that should eat H's and Shit b's for breakfast.

7500 rpm just doesnt seem like a low rpm motor considering i dont like to rev over 6000 lol...

best of both worlds and turbo the bitch!

dang thats the kinda displacement the 7th gen accords run. 2.4L with turbo, wait wait wait.......... isnt it the same displacement that the SRT Neon runs?? Dang....... I would love to see this stroker kit hold up.

Sean, didnt the B20A5s and the B20A have been claimed to be a stroked out B18 and i heard that was their weak point. SO strokin our A20, wont that be bad?
