    Angry How do you fine tune the carb

    I have a 88 Accord LX, And when I go to shift gears it want to die (acts like it running out of fuel) I can't seem to get it set right It idles just fine I have started to take off the vac. lines and plug them that helped alot But still wants to die...

    hmm, if it's fuel you might want to replace the fuel filters and check the float level.

    It sound like it's vacuum related cause plugging the ports would increase the vacuum signal. Which hoses have you plugged so far? Have you tried spraying carb cleaner to check for leaks? (you'll hear the rpm's increase if there is a leak where you sprayed the cleaner)
    Also make sure the choke is operating properly and isn't stuck.

    There is a plug on the A/F screw thats why you can't see it... I don't suggest you start to adjust the A/F mixture just yet though.

    do no adjust the flow level. the screw has o-ring and it is very sensetive when it comes to adjusting. sometimes it will leak but some time it won't
