    thinking of getting new cap and rotor..

    well i have pretty much done everything else involved with a tune up except for the cap and rotor. is there any way to find out if this is worn and if i shoudl replace it?, also i see 3 different ones on nopionline.com if i am to get one which one is right?

    just to be sure i would go to a local auto parts store and get it so you can see it. there is one that is flat on one side and one that's not, i don't know which one you have but i know that i've purchased the wrong one and have had to return it, so i still like to look at mine and write down what it looks like and then look at the new one before i get it.

    heh yeah i ordered the lxi one i hope its the right one, its alot cheaper than an auto store at nopi but the shipping is always killer!

    you want the tec cap if you have an 89 LX-i, Hopefully the lxi one listed is the same as the tec one.
