    power antenna question

ok i saw there were a few previous threads about the power antennas on our cars which specify to look in the service manual to figure out how to fix these things. but i cant find anything in there but how to test them. if anyone knows where to find any info in the manual on how to remove the motor or anyone knows how please let me know. thanks.

well, to remove the motor itself, u have to remove ur whole dash, this is because the antenna motor is right above ur cruize control box and its no way u can get it from under the dash without removing it.

As far as removing the antenna itself. and then remove the two screws on top and then just pull the whole antenna assembly out. Our antenna cable does not have the geared tooth in em so its not a problem and they just snap out of the motor and good as new.

If you need them, i got a good perfectly good in shape antenna for sale. you can get the motor too if u want. I have a fuba antenna and thats why i had to take this off.
