Who's interested in JDM replica stock spoilers?

Alright guys, since no one can afford to buy my actual JDM stock spoiler for our cars. I was talking with my dad and he might be buying this shop in town and I told him about all the people that want a jdm spoiler. Well he suggested that I should make a mould of my spoiler and then make replicas out of fiberglass. I would love to learn how to do CF b/c that would kick some major ass to have a CF JDM replica spoiler.

How I would do this is make a plaster mould and then start fiberglassing. I would have a plate of steel and have bolts welded on the steel plate and then fiberglass the plate into the spoiler. I don't know how much this would actually cost me to make one but I would really like to share part of the joy of having something that's jdm. I know it wouldn't be an actual jdm spoiler but it's probably the closest you'll ever get to one. And it would be cool to have.

    -Mike

P.S. I'm open to suggestions and comments. Please feel free to post them.

I could even primer the spoiler for the buyers and then you can either buy a few cans of spray paint from napa or advance auto parts to match your car color. I just bought a can from adv. auto parts to match my Seattle Silver color for like $3.

Or you can have a paint shop paint it to have a perfect match but that will cost you quite a bit more.

I'd be interested if the price is right but what's the steel plate thing about?

it is a vey good idea.

the steel plate deal: the spoiler the mike has used to be mine. it is made out of somekind soft material with some hard shell (paint on the top of it). the material feels like sponge, but it is a little harder. to mount the spoiler in place, honda incorporated steel piece with 4 bolts welded to it. you can't see the metal part, but you can see the bolts.
all you have to do is drill the holes and screw the spoiler to the trunk.
it is nice spoiler, i would get it if i didn't have stupid trunk luggage rack.

Hey shepherd what we could do is I could pay for shipping for the loaner lip and I could make a replica and send it right back to you. I could even offer you some money for a deposit. But everyone knows me here and I wouldn't risk my reputation on here for anything. But it's totally up to you. I think I will make the spoiler replicas before anything else. Don't want to put too much on my plate at once.
