i don't have any pictures, but so far i have Pacessetter headers, painted with high temp Dupli color. No catalitic converter, straight pipe. I am still working on cat back system, which will have Dynomax super turbo muffer.

DC header, stock cat, 2.25" piping from the cat back and a 50 series Flowmaster muffler. Sorry, no pics. The only thing that would change if I ever get around to doing the B20A is the header would be changed to an Airmass header for an USDM Lude.

before i painted my headers i had them on my old car. the paint burned off, and what didn't burned off i sanded down.
after i painted them i backed them in the oven for 3hours at 350deg. that helped a lot with paint chipping. except i made one mistake, i desided to paint one more time and slap them. well my paint is chipping now.
so if you are going to paint them and bake them, don't paint them after you bake them.

is it that bad travis? Jesus, i am glad i saved up for the DC man. I wonder why people still get the Pacesetter? Is it because its the same performance or something? I mean is the DC that much better than the Pacesetter when it comes to figures in Performance? I know the DC quality is far higher than Pacesetter, but is it just that the only difference?

I got it cuz it was cheap. So i got to sand the factory black paint off then? cuz my friend was telling me that just paint right over it. and i was thinking it would just fall off like u guys said. if i sand blast it wouldnt it be better? its the same as sanding aint it. if u guys got pics of your pacesetter header painted let me see em

when i painted my black, i used a wire wheel and sanded everything down and wiped it all down with a damp cloth and used a High temp ceramic paint and it still looks good and nothing peeled off, it looks like i got a rebuilt engine.

But yeah, sandblasting it does make it much neater and muc more even. you can also paint it and bake in it the car by driving around. Thats what i did with my block, but i guess the logical way to do is backe it in the oven.
