    Question flipped lid

I got a rather dumb question. I saw somewhere on here about flipping your air filter lid. What does it do. Or what does it suppose to do?get at me about this

it increases the air flow, supposedly increasing power. im not sure if it actually helps, but you can tell the difference in throttle response, and it sounds cool. try it, see if you like it.

    Re: flipped lid

Speaking of witch, (lol) Looking at that pic. I just might use my cut-off tool & grind to a nice smooth edge on my lid for this "high perfomance upgrade".

Seriously. (maybe when it gets warmer)

    Re: flipped lid

yea this used to be the big mod back in the day, whoo hoo I flipped my lid. somebody or another keeps bringing it back over and over in different threads. it just won't die. so of course tonight all dead threads walk again.
