WTB: Bumper Lip to fit my 89 Accord

Dear 3GEEZERS,

I would like to buy a bumper lip for my car. My dreams were halted when shepherds jdm bumper lip was destroyed. So now I have to get over the fact that I probably won't ever get my hands on a JDM stock bumper lip for my car. So I would like to buy a 86-89 Integra bumper lip, a factory 3G accord bumper lip, 2 CRX lips to make one that will fit, or a Mazda 626 lip. If you have a CRX lip that is premade and blended I would also be interested. If you don't have one that you have to sell but you can find one at the junk yard for me that would be also appreciated. I can't afford a body kit b/c I have another car that I'm buying so much stuff for. So I figure a lip will be good enough for me.

i would say the teg, or the 626, but the 626 is bigger. but it's about the same width as our's though.

ive tried bugging JDM Spec Performance and they say they dont usually get stuff for the 3rd gen accords 'because they're too old'. But maybe if more people start bugging them they'll try harder.

If you want one that bad you may be able to order one from Japan but at a price. My guess though is that is was already discontinued because of the age and its not a nessesary part of the car.

Hey mike, you could also try to find an 89 legend lip, because I just got back from the junkyard today and picked one up and it seems like it should fit. Sorry that was the only one, I also tried to find one from a teggy or accord but I couldn't find any. There are none on any 626s either, sorry. I just wanted to let you know what other car bumper lips might fit. I'll let you know as soon as I try to get mine on.

Hey easyryder I just found a couple lips at the junkyard and I got them. This is the luckiest time at the junkers b/c I have gone there about 50 times and nothing, but today they had a CRX (never seen a junked CRX before) and they had a 90 Mazda 626.

I got both lips for $15 So what I think I will do is modify the mazda lip for the rear bumper and try and find another CRX lip and mod that to the front bumper. I really like the CRX lip so that's why that's going on the front.


So if anyone has a CRX lip please let me know. easyryder if you can find one of the CRX lips please pm me.

Holy crap yeah! I will take a JDM lip, jdm corners, jdm mirrors, and a JDM owners manual with other brochers if possible. Damn dude, you have just made me very happy!!! Now I could possibly make jdm lip replicas for other members. Just so your sister isn't spending all of her time getting parts for us
