Don't waste your time. By the time you spend the money to get that in, you could have a B-series with is more dependable than GM and faster.

Well, I hate to say this but first off, Saturn never built the SC2 model in 92, first year was 1993. and second off, the 1.9L in those cars produce a whole whopping 4 more horsepower than an 3geez LXi. You're probably better off just converting your LX to EFI and using a motor that doesn't need a lot of custom work to fit in.

Just to use that saturn engine, yould have to atleast convert the accord to EFI, more than likely make custom engine mounts and see if it will fit properly, customize the accord to fit the SC2 transmission and drive axles, Change out the ECU and Wiring harness.... Lot's gonna cost major $$, and unless you're willing to dish it out, just stick to a honda engine

    Same here.

ITs not worth the time, effort, money or headaches for that engine. Just tune your carb correctly, or get a Weber carb. Then do a few of the basic bolt ons and you will have more power than that Saturn motor guarenteed.

thatd be one hell of a hybrid! i see why you thought of it though, since the motor would be free why not try it,
your looking at spending more money on putting it in then prolly what you paid for the car,
    very interesting idea though!

sorry about that it is a 93 i only thought of the idea becuase i could have gotten the motor for dirt cheap and its a stronger motor than my car is now... ive raced this car it was in... and it beat me... but if its just about the same as the lxi motor then it would be a waste of time.. didnt hurt to ask though...

Saturn engines do not suck..... and they aare not weak as hell. I see them come in on a daily basis with +200k and they run very strong. An 04 Saturn Ion does hold the FWD Land Speed record and Lisa Kubo that drove a 95 Honda Civic HB powered by a H22 (one of the fastest FWD Drag cars in the world) did switch over to a Saturn Ion. So I guess they must be doing something right eh?

Saturns are quality cars. Only because GM doesnt have full control of them.....yet.

Good to know you rmom still smacks you around and you take her advice on cars.
Make sure you know what kinda Saturn you were racing.... they did make a SOHC model from 91-02.... in a 4dr and a coupe. sohc 1.9 = 100hp. the DOHC was rated at 130ish so dont be impressed you car ran over a car that had TBI......

i think you should try it, that will be one weird hybrid,

i mean i have thought about buying a c32 block and parking my car and spending a few months putting it in,
that would be just a tad bit over done though

If you really want to use the motor, build a cart and slap the motor in the back.
