getting rid of . . .

okay when i took off the alt. i also remove the black thing for the air system the abc round thingy and plug the a,b,c, line's (i must say it's got better pick up)
i noticed though the intake mani. look's better without all that stuff.
so i wanna remove those plastic white thing's.
what do they control, does any of them control the egr ,or secondary, .
if removed would i notice any more power?

Remove the white things... they were a part of the air suction system and other emissions crap.

and just plug the line's up.
what else can i disconnect with out botering the secondary, choke, egr, or cruise system.
it seem's like it's in the way now,
