Well im not sure about the 18 inch cerwin vega stroker, but I know the 15 inch stroker needs close to 1200 watts. I know because i have one in my basement waiting for someone to buy it. I could barely fit the 15 into my 3g, how are you planning on putting that beast in there??
Thinking about getting a new 3g...

umm... for a mild setup... run it at 2 ohms to a JBL 1200.1

somthing with about 1000 watts RMS should do

hahaha go hardcore people... if you wanna compete or just be plain loud youre gonna need somthing like 2x JBL 1200.1s, or 2x Lanzar 1200ds, or a HiFonics Colossus... oh wait get 2 cadence A7HCs... 1 per coil... whatever you do just dont even think about putting less than 1200wrms to it, period.

Get a couple of old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 250M amps and bridge them together into a 2 ohm load. This setup should give you roughly 1500 watts RMS at 13.8 volts.

if you are gonna put 18's in your car get the S18X from kicker. Damn things are rated at 5k RMS and 10k peak. They come in 1ohm DVC or 2ohm DVC, but only if you are rich, cause these things on retail is at $1800 each. Or you could go to http://www.hookedontronics.com and get it for $688. It's at 62% savings. They are not refurbished either. And if you guys know stereo talk, the Xmax on these things are at 24.48, now talk about moving major air. The only draw back that I kinda feel is a bad thing is, the things weigh in at 100 lbs..
