Arrow New H4 Conversion Projectors, 1st pix(56k is a maybe)

ok, well i had got my new headlights in the mail earlier in the week. i was pretty much happy, as you can probley guess. anyway, they came with some blue xenon bulbs. i tried those out for a few days but i didnt like them. they dont shine for shit at night with those bulbs. the pix below are the ones with the blue bulbs. they would be good for like show use i guess, but i've taken them out and put my old GE bulbs back in, which may i say are bright as hell! well these are the pix i could get, i'll take some in the day and with the new bulbs at night. these shine quite far down the road and i didnt even use my lower driving lights! man, im happy with these! check out the pix i got for now.

***NOTE*** with my other bulbs they are much brighter!

i think Mike was one of the guys who had this conversion with the projectors. I never really liked them cuz they look like eye balls, but i guess they do look good. Also, how about the H4 Sylvania Headlights? I know they are bright white. I put those in my sister's car, and they are really nice. I dont really see the difference in the brightness but the cololr is significantly different.

well, the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs i tested were alright. yes, their color what much whiter than a regular halogen. i didnt like them enough to keep them but that was only my opinion. i got the new H4 conversions at Procarparts.com for about $64 with shipping and all that included in price. that was the cheapest i could find for the projector ones. i'd reccomend them! i'll have the pix with the bulbs i just put in later on this weekend. now those will hurt your eyes! hehe. i used the rubber seal that came with the headlights. all i did was used some "gasket maker" that you use for your valve cover. silicone sealer is what it is, that works great, havent had water in there yet, and i really hope i dont! im having no regrets on spending the money.

yeah, those GE's are much better! i may mess with them some more and make them shine more onto the road. dont know if i just need to point them down more or what, but they are still much better than the old H4 conversions. heres some day time pix.

I think those housings call for 9006 bulbs. If you want them to be super bright, buy a set of 9005 bulbs and cut out the little plastic tabs inside the sockets so you can put them in your housings. The little glove on the end of the bulb blocks 50% of the light coming out of a projector housing. I didn't believe that it would make that much of a difference until I did it to the projectors on my BMW.

hehe, dont remember if i told y'all or not, but this place here in town that i was going to have order those headlights couldnt find them at all. ha, they were all surprised when i had to show them where to get them. anyway, i saved my money by ordering them myself. i've had em for what seems like months, but its only been a little over a month. they do shine farther than my old Eurolite H4 daimond back ones. i just love the way they look. i usually keep the headlights up all the time. i like the fact that only me and one other guy in town with a jeep has them. mine are much brighter than his. well i guess you can tell im happy with them. they havent gotten water in them at all. i used the seal they came with and the red RTV gasketmaker stuff. it comes off if i need to get the lights out and its easily resealed.
