    does anyone got a turbo a20a1 and if so what will i need to build the engine

    does anyone got a turbo a20a1 and if so can i get instructions on how to make my own. also instructions on a cold air intake for the carb

    hehe just search the board man, there is this wicked-good dude named Sean, that makes and sells turbo kits, short blocks, and pretty much anything your going to need to turbo your a20a engine.

    yea but look what he said a1 not a3 sean does a3 turbos for efi not carb the man wants to know about carbs turbo...

    why would you want the headache of turboing an a20a1? for less hasle and probably less $$ in the long run, you could just pick up an A3

    there is a junk yard a few miles away from here that has nothing but imports that i might check out. what kinda $$$ would i be needin to have to purchase an a3 and what car does it come out of.also,how hard would it be to put a prelude motor in?

    when sean started the turbo project he had Carb.
    he used GM EFI system to convert to fuel injection and after that he added turbo. so basicly he had A20A1 turbo.

    what year prelude? if i remember correctly the 2nd gen ludes ran the a-series engine. either a 2.0 or a 1.8

    look in 86-87 lude si's. they were the only lude offed in EFI. they are a20a3's and some are 120a5's and mite even find a bt. they are all the same basic motor same as the a3's in the accords. auctually get a 88-89 lxi a20a3. its rated to have more power than the lude engine!
