dude i have a webiste that sells them cheap. it is on my computer home. hit me on IM and i will give you the site.

Kmodified racing has them for around $65 shipped. I actually got one from them a few weeks ago and it looks like a really good shifter. It is adjustable and comes with everything you will need to put it in and adjust it to how you want...

if it was me, for just $20 more you can have DC sport shifter for 84-87 civic. it is a lot better quality, and it will fit without modifications.
here are some sites for DC sport shifter http://www.planetperformance.com/pro...oductID=284572

i don't have any, but if you go to pacesetter website you will find that accord and civic have same part number.
plus there are a few members with dc sport short shifters.
you just have to look for 84-87 honda civic one.
Alex.
make your own = no cost to you...
unless you want a fancy one wityh a name brand....
nothing
if you mean by cutting the shifter and welding back it doesn't make it short shifter.
you will have less throw, but it still shifts the same. the point of the short shifter is to minimize the throw as much as possible.
here is the small trick. take a pensil, grab 1/3 of the way with tall part on the top. that is what your stock shifter looks like. move it around, you should see that it takes more movement on the top to move the bottom a little.
now move the fingers to the middle of the pensil, move around again, it takes less movement on the top to move the bottom to the same distance.
i hope that explains the trick behind short shifters.
Alex.
you can cut apart a stock shifter(all hondas came with the same one basically...lol) and cut it down and weld a peice on the bottom to make it work...etc....
if your not a welder go search Ebay theres only about a million on there at any given time....under $30 usually too
nothing

starting from 88 and up civics, 90 and up integras, 90 and up accord, 88 and up prelude used diff shifters. the ball is a lot larger and it is bend diff way.
Alex.

You can use one for a 92-95 civic. You just have to grind down the plastic ring a bit. Thats what i used and it was only 20 bucks. CAD. and it works awsome!@ nice tight shifts and Hella short!!!
