Yokohama or Kumho, help me decide!

Allright guys, I got me some Rims and now I need to buy some tires. 205-45-16 and I am stuck between the Yokohama AVS ES100 and the Kumho 712. Other suggestions are welcome, just please keep in mind I want them to last ATLEAST the whole summer.

I have always been a fan of Yokohama's I have had 3 sets of yoko. tires. And they seemed to have been great and the traction is awesome.

I had the kuhmo 712s on my old rims... they were OK. Cheap tire that does a decent job. If you have the extra cash get the Yokohamas

For performance purposes get Yoko, (thats what i will be getting). If you just need cheap tires for cruising and watever 712 is decent enough.

I have kumho 711's right now... the kumho's are great when its dry out but when the roads get wet, for some reason they suck for the first few days... Sounds weird but its true...

my vote is for the yokohamas. I have that exact same tire on my 16s and i am very pleased with them. They should last you more than a summer (im heading into my second summer with about 80% tread life left on 3 of 4 tires), they ride nice for the style tire they are, are very grippy in both dry and wet and are rather quiet too. GET THE YOKOs!

how long do falken azenis last, and those who have 512s, how long did these last? What about ES100s?

My guess is ES100 is around 15k the way i drive and..for the falkens i'm clueless..

ok, now I have another question. For those of you who have bought tires online, is it difficult/frustrating having to deal with a warranty (or a extended warranty like tireracks) if the tire fails or gets damaged? Because online I can save alot of money buying a set of Falkens, but I want to know if thats worth it.
