Idle problem from air intake ?

    Hello everybody

I installed today a conical filter, with custom intake. The intake is made from inox - crom.

    And problems appear
The engine start normaly at 2000 rpm but when he got warm suddenly he jump to 3500rpm. I let it get cold and try again but jumped directly to 3500rpm. It' s somthing about custom made intake? or it's a coincidence?

I have a pic of air intake but don't know how to put it here.

Also, two days ago i put new muffler BOSAL BROSPEED and went on 2 inch pipes.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

You need to either remove all your vacuum lines or re-route them. I took off all the stock intake vacuum hoses when i put on my short ram and now the idle is all messed up. Its easy to fix though.

    thanks for your post NXRacer
even before short ram I had remove som vacuum lines and everything was perfect.

now, even if I put back air box the idle is 3500rpm.

also I noticed that choke window is full open, from that little vacuum pump in front of carburetor
