I'm going to be ordering my tokico struts and my sprint springs pretty soon. I was wondering what kind of camber problems are most common on our cars when they are lowered? Is the front usually off or the rear?
thanks

You only to adjust your camber at 2,25 or lower
LX-R coming soon Here's a hint. 89mm stroke/ 41.60cc head /ARP head & main stud's /SRP piston's 81.5mm 9:5:1/Crower Rod's & more to come
if you lower both end, the camber will be off. on front and back
Your tires will wear a lil faster in the front since its more weight in the front.
but youy'll need to fix the camber, no option, or unless u wanna wear out your tires
I Am Lowered 1.5 Inches, And My Camber Was Off 2 Full Degrees.....so I Got A Kit.

you can save a lot of money if you go with 83-87 Prelude arms. they have more adjustment than camber kit for our cars. plus on the back you can use regular washers to correct the camber.
even if you lower 1" you will have to correct the camber on all 4 wheels.
hey TWOLOUDNPROUD, that rear camber kit, what car did it came from?
Alex.
yeah thats what i used, i have no probs adjusting...

thanks for all the feed back, so where can I get the prelude arms? and would i still have to get a rear camber kit?
Do you have to mod the prelude arms or do they bolt right up?Originally Posted by shepherd79

you can get prelude arms from your local junk yard or some one may be selling if you are lucky.
the prelude arms are not bolt on, you have to take it apart and ad washers. after that it will bolt right up.
Alex.
When you're measuring your camber, what are you using as a measuring tool or are most of you taking it to someone that has a rack? I have a degree indicator but doesn't have good enough resolution to easily measure less than one degree.

For the record, you can use either 2nd gen or 3rd gen lude front upper control arms.

I did a little reserch and found two places that offer a camber kit for our cars!
One has the front the other the rear!

The front seems a little to expensive!

im pretty sure you can also use the upper camber plates off of 2nd gen ludes 83-87. they are a lil bit more adjustasble than yours. you can addjsut your camber up front where it should be without using a kit depending on how low you lower teh car.

What kit is pictured?? I need front kit for my car!! My local shop wants 175 bucks. I think thats a little steep. Will any other kit fit our cars?? I found complete kits on ebay for like an 88 civic for 100 bucks. I dont want to kill the new kuhmos on my Si rims!!
