just about every day, my car needs carb cleaner to get it going. this morning, it wouldn't start at all. it just cranked and cranked. i replaced both of the fuel filters and it started up(with lots of smoke). hoped(but didn't expect) this would fix the problem, but it didn't. the car needed more carb cleaner later in the night after sitting for like 10 mins. i'd driven it earlier with no problems other than having to wait for like 5 mins for the idle to go down from 2.5k almost every time i start it. it seems like it just randomly doesn't want to start. what's my next step?
all this trouble is almost enough to make me start driving my POS 87 celica instead. it's in horrible shape, but at least it's EFI and starts up everytime.
