Does my car have a rebuilt title?

I was just wondering, when you open the door and look at the VIN # plate thing mine says rebuilt... when i bought the car i noticed this and asked the previous owner and he said he didn't know anything about it being rebuilt or anything since he wasnt the only one to have it. anyways, is there a website where i can find out what exactly was rebuilt on my car or whatever it means...? thanks. oh and all the other vin# plates (by the dash and under the hood) all have the vin# on it but the one by the drivers side door says REBUILT???

i'm about to get a report from carfax... how sure is it that the carfax report will answer my questions...? also, does this report cost $$$ cause i'm poor as hell.

thats what kroy told me to do, i've tried finding it but i just found posts from people willing to do the carfax report for others. and those are from 2002 so i don't know. thanks though.
