    Got a visit from Mr. Brown (UPS)

    last week on ebay, I won the auction for a set of 16" Motegi RT5's and today when UPS came, I didn't get one set.... I got TWO! Count em, 8 boxes
    I am going to hold on to one of the sets for about a month or so, but after that it might be up for sale

    I think I am going with Falken Ziex tires, I can get a set for less than $300 shipped. and I have a friend who works at Firestone who might be able to get me tires for even less, and a save me on install. not sayin how much I paid, but here is what I will say, Ebay!

    how is he being dishonest ? he didnt ask them to send to ... its their mistake ....i would sell the 2nd set and use the $$ to get tires.... and i would buy the tires from the same company that sent you the 2 sets of wheels ....

    I look at it this way, how often does a normal average joe get something good in a deal other than UPS shipping damaged goods or the company shipping out the wrong product? Its the company's screw up and you just happened to get the good end of the deal this time, dont feel ashamed.

    they don't sell tires. I even asked them if I could maybe buy tires and have them mount and balance. They gave me some reason like "shipping a mounted tire raises the likely hood for it to be damaged, TireRack has a whole warehouse full of merchanise that has been damaged due to that" but Tirerack is still doing that to my knowledge hehe
