last time i looked up tranny codes, they ended up being for manuals. i have an auto tranny on my 89 lxi. i've searched using the words: auto tranny codes, but didn't get anything. does anyone know the AUTOMATIC tranny codes? i really need to find out. thank you guys for any help you give me. no i won't be swapping for a 5-spd manual. that's not monetarily feasible right now, i just need to get the car running right.
I just converted from auto to manual and I stil have the auto tranny, so i can check its code for you tommorrow morning. I think it starts with F5.
