    Question Front Rotor Removal??????????

    So is it pretty hard to take off the front rotors off our 3gs. Like Do I know i have to take off the caliper and what esle the Spindle nut. thats it knock it off. or whats the deal. Cuz i want to do mine soon and Wanted to know if it was hard for any of u guys to take them off. thanks.

    Except 1990-95 Accord

    1. If equipped with an air bag, disconnect the negative battery cable and properly disable the Supplemental Restraint System (SIRS), as detailed in Section 6 of this manual.

    2. Loosen the lug nuts, then Raise and safely support the vehicle on jackstands.

    3. Remove the wheels.

    4. Remove the two 6mm screws from the brake disc.

    5. Disconnect the caliper from the caliper bracket. Support the caliper out of the way with a length of wire. Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose.

    6. Remove the caliper bracket.

    7. Remove the brake disc. If the brake disc is difficult to remove, install two 8mm bolts into the threaded holes and tighten them evenly and alternately to prevent cocking the rotor.

    8 ' Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

    9. If equipped, enable the SRS system and connect the negative battery cable.

    yeh, basicly,...you may find the rotor has a couple of large phillips head screws holding it on to the hub,so an impact driver may come in handy to remove them

    On the back of the caliper are 2 17 mm bolts holding it to the knuckle. Remove those bolts and the caliper will slide right off. Make sure you support it and don't let it hang by the hose. There should be 2 phillips head screws holding the rotor on. Sometimes they're there, sometimes not. Get a #3 phillips screwdriver and take the screws out. The rotor will slide right off.

    Thats when you get your #3 philips bit and put it ina 1/4" socket. Markmdz just showed me that yesterday.

    Must use a impact screwdriver for those screws, if not then you will most likely just strip them. If you have the right tools you can take them off in five minutes.

    Tell me about it, I just had to buy a new drill and screw extractor set.
    I allready tried PB Blaster and a propane torch. Those bitches still stripped.

    Ight then. I guess im going to have fun. lol lucky i have access to a shop and has all the tools. cuz im to poor to own impacts and shit. i only have 300 dollars worth of tools. I let u know how it goes. but hopefully my 2 screws are not rusted.

    Damn, must have sucked for you guys. Mine were not and still aren't rusted and came right out with that #3 phillips. I had to twist them pretty good but they came right out, no probs.
    No projects. Life consumes my time and money.
