    dual carb set up

can u run a dual carb setup on the accord A20A1?
now if u had twin DCOE's or what ever what would you do for throttle, fuel lines and vacuum lines? would u have to split them all or run new lines for 2nd carb?
its not how fast you go, its how fast you get going.

yes you can run dual DCOE carbs on A20. many people on this board have this setup. prleude intake manifold won't fit on A20 head.
    the bolt pattern is diff.
you can swap the A18 head.
it will give you higher compression ratio.

Didn't they stop making the manifold... anyways the thorttle will have to be linked and the carbs synchronised... and fuel lines will feed one carb and then the other inline. also you need to hook the individual runners together to equalise the vacuum, some manifolds already have a vacuum tap, if yours is custom then you'll have to tap the runners on your own.

you can buy the manifolds from autquip.co.nz i believe... that is where I bought mine. the only place in the world that I could find that makes the prelude manifold.

there was a company that used to make intake manifold for prelude http://www.twminduction.com/Home/Home-FR.html
unfortunatly they no longer make that intake manifold. you can try to call them and ask.
and here is the company in New Zeland http://www.autoquip.co.nz

twm mite still make them. i dont think autoquip makes them anymore however. the head form a 86-87 lude will only fit on the a20. the heads form 83-85 WILL NOT FIT. adn you cannot just bolt that head on, the cumbustioin chambers need milled out to be the same size as the a20. trust me. if you dont you will be blowing headgasgets!!!!
