Alarm question

Where in the heck is the door trigger (black/white) wire in our cars? It says it's supposed to be in a two-wire harness in vinyl tubing above the fusebox, but I don't see any 2-wire harnesses up there or any black/white wire. Is there somewhere else I can get to the wire at? Please help... this is the only thing left I have to do to get the alarm installed. Also, where is a good spot to mount the brain in our cars? I can't seem to find a good place under there. Thanks!

In the drivers kickpanel. It is more like a huge group of 30 wires.

Does yours have independent door trigger wires? My '87 had one unique wire for each door. A good way to tell is if yours has the picture of the car on the gauge cluster that'll tell you what door is open. If so, you'll need to tap each wire and diode isolate them off.

Or you could just tap into the domelight.

Domelight wiring runs up the drivers 'a' pillar. You can connect to it there.
