i'd thing you would need to either section out the front end making it longer, or set back the fire wall. thats what honda did to make the 5th gen accord V6. its just slightly long on the nose end. i had thought of that idea also, and considering other 4 cylinder engines, i dont think its worth it. but i can say go for it because that would be tight as hell!

I was pulling apart one of those legend V6 engines today. With swapping it in, your main problem is that the engine sits the opposite way from the accord engine. The transmission is on the right side (looking in from the front) and the alternator/PS/belts are on the left side. As for clearance, it may physically fit into the bay if you move all the stuff at the back of the bay.
    Now:
    -1988 Honda Prelude custom
-1988 Honda Accord (to be fixed and sold)
    Soon:
    -some big 4x4 truck
    -91 Acura NSX

wait a second, i was looking at the displacement you put. its a 2.5 litre V6, so thats the C25 engine, thats for the 86-87 i guess.
