My car was leaking power steering fluid so I went to two places to get it checked out and they both said i have the leak in my steering rack. So now i have to get the whole thing replaced and thats costin around $450.Is there any way I can do something else or not spend that much?
Well, if you are feeling strong you could always go to the "How-To" section. There is a write up on how to remove the power steering pump. My wife makes do without it on our DX for the same reason as you: I won't pay to fix the rack.

Where is it leaking from ?? My rack was leaking too, i got the seals replaced for around $100 or so.
