Arm rest and console??

ok, KMA Kustomz in my town has a 1996 Civic EX that is totaled. It has a nice armrest and console in it that looks like it would fit, and my friend has a 95 civic dx front console half ans the 92-95 civics have the flip-out cupholders, anybody think that if i engineered enough, i could fit this nice console and armrest in my 3g??

i say test fit it if you can. i would try it out. also, i think it could be done, but i havent looked at civics too closely to be sure. or you could try finding a 3gee armrest at the junk yard like i did.

There was a guy on the G1teg forums (for 86-89 Integras) that used a 96-99 center console in his teg; he said he got it to fit in like 20 minutes and it looked really good. I am sure it wouldn't take too much finagling to fit it to a 3Gee. As for the EG console, you would probably be dissapointed. Those cupholders are flimsy and don't hold cans very well (a few times while I had my hatch, cans would tip out of them).
