Do you mean 200 miles per half tank? That's doing pretty good. I get about 330-350 on a whole tank so you're doing better than me.

If you guys are getting 200 miles a gallon, give me your car. I have no problem driving a car that gets over 3000 miles a tank.

I just ran about 420 miles on a tank of gas on the way from Home to Daytona Beach, a lil bit of tooling around Daytona, then part of the way back home. Most of it was 90-100mph on the highway. I think it took about 12 gallons to fill up so i got about 35mpg. I think I think I get about 200-250 on half a tank but then it goes a lil quicker after you get past half a tank. Usually on a full tank combined city/highway I get about 375 or so which usually comes out to about 31 or 32 mpg. Not bad considering I set my timing by ear anf feel

I was excited to go 400 miles on a tank this weekend, and the fuel light still hadn't lit up. I figured I still had about 50 miles left in it too.

I got around 250-300 miles per tank but thats back and forth in town to work. How much is gas where you live ? Today it's down to $1.68 a gallon and thats too much. I really feel bad for all them SUV owners who are going to have to get a part time job just to be able to drive the beast they have bought. NOT!

Think that's too much? It's like $1.99 for regular unleaded here so you can probably imagine how much I'm paying if I'm only pumping supreme twice a week.

My '86 LX used to get around 400km (250mi) per tank in the summer, mostly city driving. I thought that was shit compared to some other cars I've driven. I don't know about my '89 LX I just bought because I've only put on about 100km (60mi) on it and the needle has barely moved.

Yea I second that! They ought to try our gas prices for a while, afterwards I dont think they would complain about their own prices any more...
    We're getting ripped off.

Word! There is a reason you almost never see any 6,5 litre trucks in Europe. Gas prices are outrageous!

Luckily, my Honda only drinks 5,9 litres per 100 kilometres (highway). Bad news is that it requires premium fuel; unleaded 92 (American spec.) octane (it's the same as "98" octane in Europe).
