Door handle doesnt work right

Im not sure if im in the right board but i wanted to see if anyone else had this problem.
My passenger door is very hard to open. U know how usually when you pull up the handle it makes a click noise then the door pops open? Okay it doesnt do that it just doesnt make any noise and u really hafta pry it to get it open. I never really thought of it as a problem, i just told the people to lift and pull hard and it usually worked.
Lately tho its up to the point that it wont open from the outside. I hafta open the passenger door for people from the inside. Does anyone know what could be the problem with it? And if so, how much do you think it would cost me to get it fixed?

i had that problem on my s-10, i was told i need new hinge pins, i don't know if thats the same problem u have though

Yeah someone told me thats what it might be. how much did it cost u to fix it?

i sold it, not because of the hinge pins, but for other reasons
