during the vac line removal i did i had taken out the cruise and just chopped the cable. but i decided i want it so i got a new cable at the salvage now how do i need to hook it up? should i use the vac port on the drivers side of the manifold wich is now plugged? also i have one small vac port left on the back of manifold.

I would say that your best bet would be to get a repair manual, or go here and look up the vacuum diagrams. I have an 89 LX-i so any pictures of my system would not really help you too much. Also, check the rest of the site to see if anyone has pictures of their vacuum system to compare to your setup. Good luck.
