dont do it man. 3 inches is way too much. it'll ruin your ride, and comprimise the handling of your car.

man it will totally ruin tha ride, 3 inches is meant for like a total lowrider slammed style. U dont want to drag race in that it could really hurt ur suspension. Get lowering springs!!!!

if you want to go that low, then get coil-overs, other wise if you want to save money, get springs. Cutting the springs is bad, unless you really want to..........I wouldn't do it though

Lowest drop you can get with ordinary springs in I think 2.5" with some Sprints; they are only $100. It's worth it to buy them.

If you drag race DON'T do it. I cut mine and dropped it 3.25"+ and threw in some new struts but only for looks. You'll have more trouble getting the tires to stick screwing your 1/4 mile times.

you are asking for trouble if you cut them wc....your car is gonna bounce like hell and it is gonna put added wear and tear on the rest of your suspension. IT'S A BAD IDEA. But you are gonna do what you want so what the hell does it matter what I think?

Cutting the springs that much will cause too much weight transfer to the rear on the launch and cause your ET to go up.

dude, if u drag race u know this more than me. for hard starts, since ours is a fwd, the back dips a lot like hell. if u cut your coils, ur gonna be in a bid booboo. spend a lil more and get performance. beside, for better friction and contact, u need bigger tire wall. so lowering and drag racing is not much of a handy combo. Do think about it. good luck
