Well the best way is to add a kill switch to the battery... since most connections in the car are easy to jump. Just make sure you get a switch that can handle the power.

You could hookup an inline switch on the wire from the starter or the positive wire to the fuse box...

you wouldn't want to put a switch inbetween the battery and the fuse box. You would lose all your radio presets and all that stuff like your clock if you used the kill switch. The starter wire is the proper one

starter kill switch would not be that great if u want it fool proof, the fuel pump is the best IMO. cause a starter can be jumped using an external battery by the way, so a fuel pump lead wire can be spliced and a kill switch can be used in its place.

Do you still have that schematic, and a how -to to go with it?... you could make a thread and notify me or some other admin / mod and we could stick it up in the how-to section.
Just make sure you let people know not to post in the thread and I'll move it when I can... also make your post in either the performance or technical forums or else my hands might be tied and I wont be able to move it.

A switch to the fuel pump would be by far the best way.
I know a carbed car will make it maybe 100 feet before it stalls out.

oh and you should add on to your sig what trim you have, LX, LXi whatever. That way we can anser your questions a little easier

I have the perfect kill switch in my LX. A lil trial and error but I found the right wire to splice without losing any memory from your radio and what not. You just need a heavy duty (the all metal one) off-on switch and pretty thick wire 10guage or less. If you still interested I'll PM to tell you how to . Its only a $5.00 to $8.00 mod. And its better than nothing at all.

There are very simple ways of creatig a manual circuit breaking switch and autozone sells the type you are looking for.

    Check here for some ideas...http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...61&cgrfnbr=722

all you need is a switch wired to the wires coming out of the fuse box. Basically you pick any 1 wire that servves an important function (tells the starter to spin, car to pump gas, tells the ecu the car is in gear or the clutch isn't in) and you cut that 1 wire and put a switch inbetween. When the switch is thrown the signal can pass so the car doesn't want to start.

Make sure you know what wire you're cutting first!! You can find the neutral switch in the center console on automatics and you can mount the switch inside the armrest
