    Cutting at 3000 RPM?

Yo, I just bought my 3gee, $500, it needs a bit of work. When I accelerate to 3000 rpm, it seems like it cuts out? Any ideas?

It sounds like either a fuel or ignition issue.
Try changing the fuel filter(s), air filter, cap, rotor, plugs, wires if they look bad and set the timing.
Do you have carb (dx, lx, ex) or Fuel Injection (LXi, SEi, EXi)?

Since you have FI I would reccomend checking to se if the throttle plate in the throttle body operates correctly.

most likely your fuel filter is dirty. replace that.
clean spark plugs. or replace them.
check ECU for any codes. the ECU is under the driver seat.
move the seat forward and open the little window to see if the light blinks. if it blinks, count the blinks.

Yep, the key has to be on, look under the seat in the fold down window and count the blinks. This will give you the trouble code.
