Its had a new Carb, and Clutch, and many other parts pretty much everything but the engine and trans are not new they are ancient. It came from the back of the car looked like the muffler but i am worried because its never done that before plus the smoke smellled BAD like some thing was burning. No i didn't move anything or anything i have just been looking were everything is under the hood so i have no touched it. um help plz? Thanks, Brian

If it's a head gasket the smoke will be thick and white but will go away because it's mostly steam. If it doesn't it's most likely burning oil.

After you fill it and run the car, chek the oil level again when the engine has had time to sit... and then recheck it once more the next day... also check for oil drips where you park the car.

Don't turn on the car till you refill the oil.

Just fill it up and check for leaks and smoke like turbo accord said...

The smell should go away after a few miles if it doesn't then something is leaking still... thats why I said to check for leaks where the car is parked and check for fluid drain after you drove the car... so try what we've suggested... and come back in a day or two and tell us what problems are still occuring.

Have you even check your coolant level? If your oil is low chances are you might be low somewhere else.

yeah, too much oil will make that thing smoke like a fawkin train, i know this because i had to keep my old engine oeverfilled on long trips due to a leaky rear main seal and a bad oil pump, but it was whit, thick smoke, but it went away as the oil got lower
