Maybe he is referring to those who disable?/swap out vtec heads for non-vtec ones to run more agressive cams.

Never met anybody who swapped a non-vtec head on a vtec block.. You can run Jun Stage 3's or RS Machine cams, which have better lobes than any non-vtec cams.Originally Posted by A20A1

VTEC Blocks are built a bit diffrently. Oil Squiters, better internals, better cranks, etcOriginally Posted by kroy
Can you just replace the low cams with agressive cams as well as the high end and get yourself a vtec-less motor? All you would have is vtec always on car that doesnt save gas...
Yes you can always get more aggressive VTEC or NON VTEC cams, there are a few ways to disable VTEC as well. Like cams with one strait profile that does not switch over when vtec is avtivated. Another way is with new rocker arms.
Im not turning this into another one of my Vtec rules or sucks debates, I just thaught that pic was pretty funny.

TODA VTEC Killer Cams are the only Cam Shafts that I know of that can do it. They come with new rocker arms. The reason Jun Stage 3 cams are so good, is because the non-vtec lobes are almost identical to TYPE R lobes and do not cause eractic idle. This will happen with AGGRESSIVE CAMS ( VTEC/ OR NON-VTEC. ) It's about VTEC being better than non-VTEC, is about giving the right info.Originally Posted by kroy
All I know is im still looking for true roller cams, that would be sweet.
