It all depends on how well your current 02 sensor is working....basically what the 02 sensor does is communicates the air/fuel mixture with the ECU. If it is not working properly you will not be getting the right air/fuel mixture, usually replacing it increases your gas milage. I wouldn't count on it to really give you much more power. Depending on the year/make of accord you have there may be 2 02 sensors.

i do have 2 i just noticed the 2nd one today lol thanx
I believe the one on the right is the primary, atleast that is the one I changed when I started getting a check engine light. I still need to change the other one, but at 20 bucks a pop it's not cheap to replace them both at the same time lol.

86-7 used 1 sensor
